ABOUT LUCIS OCCULTA

Lucis Occulta is a creative tarot project offering digital Personal Readings, Gift a Reading, tarot-related editorial and digital content, and the presentation of Lucis Occulta — The Marble Arcana physical tarot deck.

These Terms govern personal use of the Lucis Occulta website and purchases of the digital services offered through it. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

PERSONAL READING

A Personal Reading costs EUR 2.90. One successful purchase authorizes one Personal Reading and does not authorize unlimited or repeated new Readings. The user submits one question, and payment must be successfully verified before generation begins.

The system draws exactly three cards: one Major Arcana and two Minor Arcana. The Reading is digitally generated using the question, cards drawn, card orientations and the Lucis Occulta interpretive framework. A completed Reading may be reopened through its private access mechanism for 12 months from completion and is not regenerated when that private access is used again.

The Personal Reading is intended to begin immediately after successful payment. Before proceeding to payment, the purchaser must expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that, once the digital service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal will be lost. This request and acknowledgement are collected separately during checkout and are not preselected.

NATURE OF TAROT READINGS

Lucis Occulta readings are provided for personal reflection and entertainment purposes. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. No specific outcome, prediction or future event is guaranteed.

For any matter requiring professional advice or assistance, users should consult a suitably qualified professional.

AI AND AUTOMATED INTERPRETATION

Personal Reading and Gift a Reading interpretations may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence and automated systems. The interpretation is based on the user’s submitted question, the cards drawn, their upright or reversed orientations, and the Lucis Occulta interpretive framework. It should not be understood as an interpretation personally prepared by a human tarot reader.

GIFT A READING

Gift a Reading costs EUR 2.90. The purchaser supplies the recipient’s email address and may optionally provide a sender name and personal message. The purchaser does not submit the tarot question.

After successful payment, the recipient receives a private access link. The recipient submits their own question and does not pay again. One Gift purchase authorizes one Reading, and the entitlement to generate it is single-use. An unused Gift a Reading entitlement expires 12 months after purchase.

The Gift may be purchased before the recipient redeems the service. The Personal Reading immediate-performance acknowledgement is therefore not automatically applied to a Gift purchase. Any statutory withdrawal rights applicable before performance remain subject to mandatory consumer law.

GIFT PRIVACY

The recipient’s tarot question and completed Reading are private. The purchaser does not receive or gain access to the recipient’s question or Reading merely because they purchased the Gift.

PAYMENTS

Payment processing is handled through Stripe. Lucis Occulta does not receive or store full payment-card details. Payment must be successfully confirmed before a paid digital service or Gift entitlement becomes available.

TECHNICAL FAILURE AND RECOVERY

If payment succeeds but a Reading cannot be generated because of a technical failure, the existing entitlement and recovery mechanism will be used where possible. The user should not be required to purchase the same Reading again merely because of that failure. For assistance, contact cosmic.paper.archive@gmail.com.

THE PHYSICAL DECK AND KICKSTARTER

The physical Lucis Occulta — The Marble Arcana First Edition is not currently sold directly through the Lucis Occulta website. At this stage it is supported or purchased through Kickstarter. The Kickstarter transaction is handled separately and may also be subject to the applicable Kickstarter terms and campaign conditions.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Lucis Occulta tarot card artwork, deck design, animations, photography, texts, interpretations and editorial content, logo, visual identity, website design and original assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws where relevant.

Website access permits normal personal use only. It does not grant permission to reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized copies of protected Lucis Occulta materials.

USER CONDUCT

Users must not attempt to bypass payment, manipulate Gift tokens, interfere with the website or its security, carry out unauthorized automated scraping, or reproduce protected content commercially without authorization. These restrictions do not prevent normal lawful personal use of the website.

AVAILABILITY

Continuous and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Temporary maintenance, technical failures, or interruptions involving third-party providers may occur. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.

PRIVACY

Information about the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive mandatory rights available under applicable French or European Union consumer law. Any rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms may be updated prospectively to reflect changes to the services, law or operating practices. Updated Terms do not retroactively remove rights attached to purchases already completed under an earlier version.
